22 year old Sheffield based singer songwriter Emma Crowder, has been impressing audiences with her honest, heartfelt songs over the past few years. Influenced by artists such as Eva Cassidy, Ben Howard, Frank Turner and Lucy Rose she is described as ‘a consistently astonishing artist’, and is being tipped for big things. Her vocal is innocent and beguiling yet powerful enough to captivate the larger venues.
2015 saw Emma step out of the comfort zone of the self accompanying acoustic guitar and voice, to venture into the studio to develop a whole new sound for her first fully produced EP. This has seen Emma go from strength to strength as the songs have taken on a whole new life backed by the full band production.
Having made a name for herself online and having had support slots with Gabrielle Aplin, Jack Savoretti and Billy Lockett, this is only the very beginning for Emma. With the release of her debut EP ‘Seasons’ on February 12th and forthcoming tour dates with the new full band sound, it is clear that 2016 is going to be a very exciting year indeed.
